Read the whole thing for the most part, but still have a couple of questions on top swapping my 02 GT.
First of all, I bought a whole motor out of a 97 gtp, but wanted the higher comp, so im top swapping.
1. I've read that the injector clips changed from 97 to 02. Can i just cut the clips off the 97 harness and solder them on my 02?
2. I'm looking at the top end gasket set on rock auto from fel pro, it appears to cover everything as far as gaskets go, is this correct? I plan on ARP headstuds and rocker bolts.
3. Do i need to switch the MAP sensor clip?
I think thats all the questions i have for now. Im sure ill come up with a few more though

3) these is no map sensor clip. if you are talking about the connector, Yes. the L36 and L67 MAP sensors have different connectors. I have heard that the L32 Map uses the same connector as the L36.
Assumption: the Idler stand off that mounts to the L67 block... I am assuming the bolt locations are present on the L36 block.
FYI:
Installing headers on 1st gen Wbody such as older GP's, lumina's, Monte carlos you will need to cut the fire wall to make room for the down pipe. this section of the fire wall is actually a double wall and after you cut it there is still protection there. I cut a 8" long by 6" wide section that looked like a turtle shell once removed. I then used a BFH A.K.A. large hammer to pound the first fire wall flush with the second. this made just enough room for my DP. If i were to do it again i would have cut 1-2" more on the driver side and pounded more on the pass side for the O2 sensor. ( will be corrected when installing topswap as I did headers during a swap from DOHC to L36)
