• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Unable to reply to 79 GP thread. It says I'm not logged in. I do have a Chilton's #28440, for "midsize" Chevys that year, such as Monte Carlo / Malibu. OP should buy one. It's really not cool to post a pic of it because of copyright. Wish I could help but if people give away wiring diagrams, the incentive for anyone to publish them goes away.
Saw some info you posted on barometric pressure readings in our map sensor. I?m having an issue that I can?t figure out. That key on my car Reed?s correct barometric pressure at 14.3 which is exactly what it is today. As soon as I get on the throttle and hit roughly 9 pounds of boost, the barometric pressure sensor changes quickly to 15.0 to 15.2. Obviously I haven?t changed altitude or weather pattern. I?m sure this is causing havoc on fueling once I?m WOT. Any idea?
Just wanted to say that i have a ton of new parts in it. Map,maf, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, crank sensor, icm, coil packs, and I still have this issue where DIC is showing 5lbs of boost while not even on the gas and the fuel trims go negative and than it shuts off and will struggle to start back up for a couple minutes. I was going to change PCM but thought I would try to talk to you about it since I saw your thread about having the same issue but never saw a post about what actually fixed it. (Also I have checked pcm grounds and they are all good)
It's an old thread l found about the shift kit and transmission cooler,
But you're not in "the loop".
That's why they didn't make it a stickey.
I found they are real click-ish over here, I've added what I felt was good information to a thread nobody ever says nothing. Every once in awhile another guy that's not in the loop will answer one of my threads but that's about it. Thanks for the Post that's a good thread I'm going to try it on my car.
Like you mentioned I'm not having any other problems except the bit of a long shift after it's warm and then the shifts get a little bit hard not real bad or anything.
In case you don't go back to the thread I guess either one of those transmission coolers linked on page seven of the thread would be sufficient for our cars? I have an 01 Grand Prix SE also. It only has 107,500 miles on it.
