reading is the only way you will learn about the car on the internet...obviously, so get to it!
There is a video of doing a lower intake manifold gasket change.... this will be a good general starting point but the vehicle this is being performed on is a SC'ed car so it will not show you everything you need to change over, but it is a good thing to watch to become familiar with some more of the parts and where they go....Great Write Up! Read through the whole thing and not to sure of what everything is. Im planning on doing the top swap around tax season, and i was wondering is there any other write up with pictures or video? Thanks guys

in short, no, you can use L67 components but you'll need to keep your throttle body and returnless fuel lines.
I have a base 2006 Grand Prix. I've read through all 10 pages and read about the top swap over and over again.
I have 86,000 miles, probably about 90k before I'll be able to afford to do a top swap.
To my understanding, all I have read about so far in this thread is 04 and older. From what has been said, it is 100% certain that a series 3 can be swapped safely? I'm fairly certain there's no major differences, from 04-06 I should worry about with doing a top swap.
Should I contact Ed Morad for parts, or would buying most of the parts from ZZP be a good idea. My cart for ZZP is pushing $2500 :0
