Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

Looks good.

Silly tiny rear brakes lol

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

Thanks, yup teeny tiny, n they'll be staying that way unfortunately. I pieced everything together with the brackets that guy made and it's well over 1200. So not worth it for me at all lol.
Those GXP rears in the back?

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

1200! No way!! I call shenanigans! Lol

Calipers are like 180ish
Brackets are like 180
SS lines are like 65ish
Rotors are like 100ish
Pads are like 80ish
Machining rotors should only be like 50ish

Total should be around 650 give or take lol

And screw the e-brake you don't need that crap lol

Brackets are 200, calipers are 200 pretty much, we need to change our knuckles which are 300 or more, rotors are 120, caliper bolts are 30-40 n nothing is including tax or shipping. I priced it up the night he told me a price n said nooope lol

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

Why do we need to change to the knuckle.. only if you want to keep the e-brake I thought. .. ya I'm waiting on Lecram to finally get back to me about his brackets hopefully they are cheaper lol

I already have the calipers from when I was trying to mock up a bracket lol.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

Just like for us to run gxp rear brakes, I'm pretty sure we have to change the rear knuckles. I thought I've read it from a few places. That'd be sweet if we didnt, cuz then I'd consider it.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC, GXP Seats & Coilovers Installed!

Ya the only reason we would have to change them is to run the e-brake setup.. other wise they are the same bolt pattern for the calipers... so if you aren't running the e-brake then you can stick with the stock knuckles

My e brake doesn't even work now haha. But ya, I'll have to look into it further to make sure. Then I'll add it all up n again.

Looking real good man!

How is the ride on the coilovers? Hit the bumpstops yet up front?

Did you do the full set of spacers to kill some of the axles vibration?

Thanks bro, the ride isn't much worse than my stocks with ssc's at the end lol. It seems like it'd bottom out more before so far. N i dont think it really has yet. There's been a couple rough bumps but nothing that I wasn't getting before. I still need to make some spacers. I have a zzp poly trans mount and I bought a zzp poly engine mount off clist that the guy was shipping to me. That should be here tomorrow or Tuesday n I'll be making my own spacers before I throw all that on. Vibration hasn't been too bad tho. I don't get on it too much n baby her:cool:
