Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I'll probably do that when I do my plugs and wires, and fuel filter assuming it comes off.

It will, I've learned a few tricks at work. Just remember only the filter turns, the line flare nut should stay stationary. If possibly get a wrench on the line nut and have it up against the body so you can wrench on the filter and not have to hold the other one. Then leverage is your friend. Also get the right size or use a crescent, vice grips if its rounded.

Any sort of teflon for the threads? So get a line wrench on the line wedged against the car to not move the line then try to turn the filter by its own nut or the whole filter itself.

Yeah pretty much. You can use vice grips on the line nut, I usually do since the wrench never ends up on the frame. Vice grips/crescent wrench combo hasn't failed me yet. Nothing on the threads, except maybe antiseize. iirc there's an o-ring that seals the fitting.

Ah cool, have to give it a shot. Bought a fram one Joe had for sale on here along with some plastic elbows.

The GP at work gets a new motor tomorrow, I'll probably be doing that, maybe.

Well you could have but like you said it's pricey since it's illegal to make it. It's nice that it's still legal to sell and use it though, that's their way of just making it obsolete.

Random question but seriously considering...Does the 40th anniversary spoiler directly fit onto my GT trunk lid? I really want that one and some tips like the 40th.

I love R12 that stuff will frost the vents. Best AC I ever used is the 84 F150 at work. Its all beat but the AC works better than in my new car.

40th spoiler needs holes drilled and your old holes sealed so it will not leak. I would just get a whole trunk lid.

Good point. I found a red special edition and I offered to buy the deck lid for 200 bucks but the lady thought I was crazy. Her car was a POS too.

Took my car in for inspection today. It failed, lol. "you need a new gas cap man." Luckily I bought one two years ago in case it failed, just laying around in the garage. It's probably going to show my car as "failed" in the vin checks lol

Well if I got a whole new trunk lid it would have to be local. Just the spoilers on ebay are selling for a decent price. And whatever route I go it will have to be painted.

Edit: http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/pts/4491664010.html

ebay spoiler was $150, whole trunk $180. Of course I'll make sure a gp trunk lid will fit in a gp trunk..I think so.
I think all 97-03 swap except for spoiler hole locations. Wish you was here I could maybe hook u up.

Yeah everyone says so.

I ordered my rear suspension stuff a few days ago and thought my rear sway bar links would be okay at 113k since they're a ball and socket style. I went out to check just now and nope, the left one has a little play on the top joint. So I ordered 2 of them, they're pricey. Almost $20 per link by moog.

In my sunbird when it was running r12 I would get ice in the lines fir a few mins. Whst was weird I thought it stoped working but in a few mins it was back to 20 f air. That was the second coolest ac I ever felt. The coldest one goes to a 1980's buick, what made thatone so coldis somehow the cold ac line rubbed on the radiator and kept pushing the ac temp further down. Was really funny sitting in traffic on 100+ day with a big puffy jacket on
