• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I see extra tools

where? theres 3 sockets, a few extensions, a 2 piece red pipe for leverage, the BFH, and a breaker bar. screw drivers, the flat head was for the abs clip to pop it off, the Philips was for the rotor to break the axle nut free. the clip fought me, so instead of bleeding lol smarter not harder.

torque wrench not shown. but i used one.

i work solo dont ya know. i had to make a one man bleeder too. must say its the bee's knees. if i had two mirrors i could set up to see the line it would be even better.

i even re greased the slider pins for the hell of it, even tho they were just done last month with new pads.

Thinking about work after the house sells and i'm at the new house w/o stuff but want to do tire changes. I could.. build myself a 220 cord and swap the compressor over to 220

Why are college students terrible drivers? Well, most anyway. How hard is it to drive a Civic? And I just got my bumper repainted last year. Best some wax can do.

So do i just call an eye place and say "hey, i'm looking to get a prescription for car window tint. Can you help me?" or how the hell do i go about doing this?

Go to them and say your eyes are sensitive to the light and given you migraines whilw driving from squinting and such (mine actually do but they can't prove your light sensitivity so they kinda have to believe you from what I've read for liability reasons), if they say wear sunglasses says it obstructs youe view of the gauge cluster ask about tint prescriptions. Im in that process now I'm tryiing to setuo an appt with my doc.

Scotty +1 on buying hubs locally. I want to feel it spin before I purchase. I mind re-doing.

The GTP got love today. Still rainy so no wash. But I have shiny torque stars all around with good tread and fresh alignment. One new strut had to be slotted slightly for camber and one rear strut bolt required torch heat to loosen. It drove good but was pretty far off and would yank right when stomped at low speed. Drives real nice now.

Also sanded out the roof rails from the rolled-over GTP and filled the scratches with glaze coat. Next time I have primer in the gun I'll hose them. Baby steps. Lid / spoiler next.

Very busy at work today. Drove home with the needle just about on the E. I got the GP motor ready to come out, everything's disconnected. I'm gonna work tomorrow too and finish the motor swap.

Wait til you see the difference in size. You'll ask yourself why you didn't switch them out sooner.
Really? I'm surprised a full metal link would need to be thicker than stock.
Dont forget to shave the keyhole on the trunk

Nah, so I can't get in if my battery dies?

I'm going to look into this too, my eyes are sensitive. After driving on a sunny day for at least 30 minutes my eyes get really like, sore almost from squinting. The time I drove to akron ohio my eyes hurt all the next day too. I try to stop squinting but then that hurts my eyes..so it's a lose lose. Plus I would like tint, mainly because everyone says it would look better without the fishbowl status but nothing real dark. Nothing under 25%.

or just push the trunk monkey button.

My 69 GP has stock trunk release in the glovebox but when I shaved my lid I made a very simple mechanical backup release. It could be done on a 97-03 also. But theres the pass-thru in the back seat and a release in the trunk on the 97 / 03 so yeah you would never really be screwed, Navy.
