so i believe i have all the turbo parts im going to need

JGS precision turbo log manifold
CX racing intercooler and piping
Tial Q BOV
Tial F38 wastegate
Megasquirt system (installed and rough tuned by me)
RC550cc injectors
custom oil lines
custom downpipe.
 


guess i'll just order my headers and catback now so that after i get it tuned i'll make around 370-380. can't give you too much of a chance.
 
you have no idea how much i laugh at that, i was cruising with him on the freeway and him and his gf went at it. he hit a dip and shot sparks out from underneath.
 


he's not the smartest friend we have, just remember that.

and seriously, i am fairly excited to see the miata move out with these parts on it. i think it's going to be a good, fun setup.
 


turbo manifold. do i plumb the wastegate back into the exhaust or be a ricer with a mini dump?


IC mounted



turbo mounted, downpipe is fabbed ( not pictured) mount for wastegate is finalized. catch can and lines were fabbed, tucked somewires. finalized cold side piping( waiting on some couplers for that) and bought wrong style injectors so i need to source some EV1 styles clips for them.

going to need a turbo blankey and wrap the **** out of the DP.
 




closer, added a few things, need to wrap the dp still and install the vband. wideband in and wired, oil line made and installed, picked up a turbo blanky. wrapped the coolant crossover tube (sits right under the exhaust manifold. waiting on some gaskets.


finalized bov placement, with the iat bung and added a bung for boost reference for the wastegate. installed larger injectors and changed corresponding plugs

small winter update.

upgraded the stock radiatior to a 57mm aluminum one from mishimoto, had to add a slim fan as the stock one was hitting the bigger sway bar pretty bad. fabbed a radiator upper panel and had it powder coated wrinkle black.


also made a master cylinder brace, as these cars have pretty bad firewall flex
