My dad has a 1999 Mazda Miata that's a complete garage queen. Literally gets driven 30 times a year. This thread makes me want to turbo his car. Would be so much fun.

rode in my brother in laws when I was home in ND over new years. VERY VERY impressed with that thing on coilovers roll bar front and snow tires on all 4 with some centric rotors and hawk pads is all he has done. Was an absolute blast on the snow dusted roads. Plenty of HOONIGAN going on and the EVOX and Subi with the front CV shafts out couldn't keep up.
Was awesome to chuck the steering wheel and it just stayed since it doesn't self center it would make for some killer long sliding corners!

i played with my New LSD with 4.10s, holds slides like a boss. playing with launch control stuff now.

well old turbo (garrett T04E ) started smoking and had some shaft play. pulled the trigger on a new ball bearing GTX3071R. should spool hell of alot faster, and make sweet turbine noises.

That is the turbo I want...So light and easy to spool for a 4 banger.

my brother in law just got a hell of a deal on a torsen diff with the 4.10s how you like it? I don't remember what he had before for gears but says the car should rev a lot lower on the interstate now too.

the 4.10s with the 6speed blows for me, the car pulls hard as hell on the freeway but 1st is so short i end launching in 2nd most of the time. the 6spd can take more abuse though, thats the only reason i have it.

welp, installed tuned on 10psi currently, pulls nicely, and handles perfect still. trying to nail down tune as theres no one tuning this ecu by me, so ive had to figure everything out on my own.

yea, its been a pain in the ass this whole time, it idles nicely sometimes, other times it surges. ran all new lines twice, ziptied all connections. everyone on the forums love it over AEM, but theres only 1 megasquirt tuner in my area and i cant seem to get him to answer his phone. if i had AEM theres mulitple shops around me.
