Of course you guys say buy the cam haha. I dont want to dig any deaper into the engine then the swap lol. So given rockers or a real in car tune, which one haha?

It'd be nice to change that timing chain and tensioner when your in there how many miles on the car do you have? I'd probably buy the tuner because I'm not a fan of rockers but if you don't know what your doing with the tuner you can F things up pretty easily.

BTW I contacted zzp about the knock sensors and they said that they have used both of them and they read the same it doesn't matter

That's not to bad mine had about 110,000 and the timing chain tensioner had a decent grove in it from the chain. How many lbs are your valve springs?

Well they were stock up until now i have l76(90#) springs on the heads that will be going on during the swap

Yea I have Ls6 valve springs they are 90's is that what you meant? I didn't understand why yours weren't blue?

What's a I76 spring why wouldn't you get a ls spring? That's probably why you couldn't get them on very easily.

Mm well i know a lot of guys that run them on here i got them because a guy on the forum was selling them with the modded retainers at a good price. Both are 90# and 1.8" install height so i think there pretty much the same. Maybe l76 springs are just a little cheaper?

I just didn't think they were that expensive to begin with how much did you pay? I'd rather have new valves springs then used though depending on how used they are.

The guy sold them to me for 60 shipped and they were all brand new in gm packaging. Modded retainers are intense brand
