the wrist breakers will do well with a large wheel i bet. you got a lot of weight to use with them lol

i did my whole engine block, heads lim, all of it with wire wheels to get all the rust off crap.

a blower is so porous and rough it seems you'd be better off with a die grinder first to smooth it out, then polish with sanding tubes.

Hey have you tried like Dremel tool-style wire wheels for tight spots? Polishing might be a lot easier if a guy was to blast first. Anybody tried chrome spray paint like Bumper Chrome? Painting makes more sense to me because those SC castings sho ain't no beauty queens.

dealt with one of them old bastards more then once. using them to drill with is about the worst. drill jams, but you cant stop the drill from turning to save your life, then the cord starts to wrap the drill, and you have to abandon ship lol thing is even if you let the trigger go, its still gonna turn on ya. evil tool for sure.

then again, some times the big old angle drill is the only way to do what you need to do. so you take the chance knowing what can happen.

Yeah its getting painted this looks like doodoo lol, I ate up all my dremel wire wheels then it died for good lol

And I forgot to close the garage door. My car is covered in aluminum fak. Car wash tomorrow.

dont be a quitter. it takes hours to polish one out. i put a easy 20 hrs in porting my heads. walk away, start again the next day for a hour or so. you got time.

Oh no doubt it takes a while I forgot how porus the blowers are, I would keep going if this dremel didn't die. Don't want to buy a new old one. I'm saving as I'm bit of money for this whole top swap so that would take from it.

I have one, my compressor doesn't like me using them and don't want to keep it running for an extended time to possibly hurt it. My friend did that to my old compressor when I used to live in ohio.

i got 3 of em, all of em 20 minutes or less away. one i can be at in 5 minutes if i catch every light green and hit no traffic lol

I used a wire wheel on a die grinder, it made pretty quick work of it. And it looks like new I'd say.

Last pic I put a few coats of high temp clear coat on it.
