Im not an Xbox fanboy Im a Halo fanboy... needless to say I wont be purchasing this new box til the new Halo comes out...

But the 360 was also cheaper than the PS3...

Also the PS3 had its share of recalls but just didn have as many devices defective as the 360 did (like 80% of the white ones).

I went through two 360s in a year then called it quits and got a ps3. I still have my original 80 gig ps3 to this day and it still works flawlessly after thousands of hours of use between movies and games.

i still have the same 360 i got junior year of high school, lol and i am now a senior in college...
honestly. either system is a win. what one lacks, the other has.
 
^^^^ same, had the original one all the way up until last summer and got a slim (at $99) rather than paying $99 to replace whatever was bad on mine...

My PS3 was annoying due to the fact it was so damn loud... sounded like it was turbo charged or something.
