We don't use salt here thank goodness. They use some sort of chemical spray stuff, not sure what it is exactly but it leaves a white dinginess on everything.

I know I know. I wish the bank would loan on turbo Buick cause that's what I'd have.

Think I might just throw solenoids in this trans and keep driving the car as a daily and keep trying to sell the turbo stuff

You could use the turbo stuff, on a 3800... That is not inside a W-body. You could do a Fiero, a manly minivan, or go crazy and swap it into an old Datsun 240z or a tiny little import truck, or an old VW Bug...

There's even an RX7 with a 3800 here on this forum. You've already got the parts to make a beast of a 3800, find something tiny and lightweight to throw it into. Then once turbo Buick GN happens, you've got a spare powerplant.

Turbo pre-gen 3.8 V6 GN stuff isn't the same as the L67 stuff, either.

I'm not dickin around with swapping ****. Too much effort and time. SHO's are an option. I could use a new daily that's fun to drive. I don't need a dedicated play car. I'd rather have other toys to be honest

No, but it does have the same bellhousing bolt pattern, so in case the old 3.8 has issues it could still be driven until the original engine is built back up.

I'm just providing ideas that aren't that far-fetched, for something that could be fast with the parts he already has.

I say buy a v1, go 9" and turbo. That would be a fun dd.

No V1's. If the goal is fast I wouldn't start with something that's 15K when a 5K fbody will accomplish the same thing with less effort and money.

Dont care for trailblazers all that much. Had one lol

4 doors isn't necessary. I'd prefer a 2 door but it's what ev. I'd kinda like to get a nice DD that's somewhat quick and be done with it. I don't need a racecar. And I'm also tired of driving my truck that gets a whopping 14 mpg
