Glorious. I'm so far overdue for new struts and springs that the rear end is sagging down... low enough that the sway is hitting the exhaust on almost every bump. lol

It's a big effer. You really notice how much bigger once it's under there.

I'm too poor for a C5. I could just do a rusty ****box turbo car and gut it to the max.

I think it's pretty common for that bar to hit the exhaust, glad you like it though.

I figured as much. lol I need to re-do the exhaust anyways, the mufflers are looking pretty nasty at the seams...

I'll fix it later. Right now I need to figure out some spacers for the engine and trans mounts, and I might need some cam bolts to get the alignment correct.

But I think Purple Turd-bo is a better idea than dumping money into another platform that you don't already have parts for, and that isn't already purple.

C5's have come down in price, at least in Utah. my biggest problem is that you can't drive them year round, but one could be had for about 10k.

My car valued in at like $20,300~.

I got it for $15k, with 54k miles. It's an '04.

Only thing it needed was some new weather stripping for the targa top, a corner lens that was cracked, and some buffing/TLC.

In all reality I could afford payments on a C5 but I need to buy a house first

Did some research and troubleshooting. Came to the conclusion the TCC solenoid is stuck on. I have a Solus I can use to turn solenoids on and off. TCC solenoid won't click. Just makes a buzzing noise

So now the question is:

Do I pull the subframe down and put in a new TCC solenoid, and PCS since it's also bad?

Put the built trans in and keep on truckin with a rusty pos car and go turbo down the line?

Take it to the scrap yard?
