Its on there pretty bad like almost burnt on would that work I know this stuff cleans really well even will take off paint if its left on to long,just not sure about how good it is with the inside of the motor
use a wire brush or really stiff scrub brush, with brake cleaner. (stay out of the lifter holes) the burnt look should fade. as long as its all clean it will be fine if its dark still. regular oil changes will continue to clean it up over time.

This. I wouldn't degrease anything other then the block when it's completely assembled so the degreaser will only getting on the outside and has no chance of getting in the block. And grab some cheap shop towels.
True I'm just thinking the gunk might fall in there even with a rag but I will take my time I just want to clean it up some before I put it all together again=) I want it done by this weekend there is a meet on the 6th, my chain should be here tomorrow so I want to try and make it out to that, I have a few bucks on a az card with some cash ill pick up some break cleaner after work I get out at 9 so ill have the hole day to work on it lol
Rags plus break cleaner and wire brush work amazing took off so much gunk, I got all my parts for free they messed up and long story short 4 days later they refunded me 179 they charged me twice and gave me back the money for both so happy about free parts=))
Ok quick question I look up cam torque and im a little confused want is the torque for that?
And yeah it has a lot of problems but I have most of the parts so I shouldn't need much, ill get the things the mechanic told them where wrong tomorrow as well I can't wait lol im giving the 100 tomorrow and the rest next Friday so its a good deal
25 th? you mean on the tail light? its a LS being i dont see a super charger under the hood. lse,(n/a) gse and GS (both s/c) the Joseph Abboud Edition came either s/c or n/a.
98 was the 25th year of the Regal. One of the cars I had was a 25th. And..it had the same color/look of that one. Often it was supposed to get the black trim like that one.
Pffft Dan you were slow. I pulled the motor Friday and was waiting on a fuel rail until Sat to have it running. Could have driven it on Friday afternoon.
