• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Oh yeah that is right, I need to get a few sockets to fit my torque wrench, I need to get the tranny fixed and the lim port tomorrow and I can start to pull the motor in the car:)

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Well you haven't put it all together so I say yes... Easier to do it now rather then wait until you either have it completely assembled and/or in the car.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Alright sounds good, so regal well be here tomorrow as well why would the car not turn over? Battery maybe or starter?

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Yea you should have some test parts to try out everything should be the same the only thing that could be different is the alternator.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Ok so buick is home, I think its the starter put a battery in and nothing still. But im going to go outside here and work on the motor some more I dont have a 13 or a 8 that fits my torque wrench and I need a bit that will fit it as well to use on the rockers, or can I just put the heads over them?
