I had this problem before with this code it was something dumb but I.changed the pig tail to it could I have put the tps in wrong?check the wires to the tps. any cracks or bare wire will make the same code pop up. the wires get whats known as dry wire, the copper turns dull and no longer sends signal right.
take the plug off, and bend it back to see the ends were the wire goes into the plastic.
yeah and i emailed the company already about the harness unless someone on here has one laying aroundNice score, hope you get it hooked up.
lol thats what they told me when i took it to them, but they use solder and a rubber shrink thing but i was jw bill if you know where i can find a wiring harness for the gauge i know its a old oneWhat's the proper technique for fixing a pigtail? I've seen a lot of mechanics use a crimp connector. IMO that's about the most improper technique out there...may as well twist them together and hope for the best if that's the way it's done.
Which cam?
