or you can take a hack saw to the tops of the torx bit tops, and cut a grove in it, then use a flat head screw driver to take the screws out, a dremel or grinder with a thin blade also works well.

Yes, I'm a country raised girl, so I utilized my backdrops of corn fields, apple and pear trees, and the old feed grain bin.

Sorry so many of them are the same. If only the grass was greener, they would look a little better. And tire shine...but I was out :(
Hopefully dad doesn't sh!t when if he sees the tire marks in the grass.

I would like to try and make the calendar this year, but who knows.

and tell dad you had good reasons to drive on the grass, and then show him the pics. if hes a man at all he will say it looks great.
 


My 02 has the same problem. I havent looked at the wires yet though. I really like your car. Where did you get those clear corner lights from? and did the yellow side lights come with them?

I got them off someone on Craigslist, but you can get them on eBay. $30ish is normal for them.
Even keep an eye out on here, sometimes people are parting with them.

And the yellow side lights? I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but I did replace the regular amber turn bulbs with chrome tinted ones so they are sorta invisible since the reflector is clear. With the amber bulbs behind a clear reflector, it looks like egg yolks and looks icky.
 
on the side where the reflector is usually amber and yours is clear? well in your pics above they look like they have an amber light in it
 


car is looking good! i like the pin stripe on the front bumper, looks cool.

you could get some maf cleaner and try that, my guess is that the TB cleaner left some residue on the maf.

Thanks! I left it on both bumpers since it was still in good shape and breaks up the white a bit.

I may pick some up and try it. The light keeps coming off and on as it pleases. I don't get it.

Thanks! I love having a big yard and freedom. Grass area is 10 acres and field is another 15+ or so. I will never live in the city if its up to me.
 
off and on could be the wiring. and by the wiring i dont mean just at the connector, youll have to unloom and untape some it to follow the wires and look for brakes. look near edges, up by the radiator is good place for them to rub, had an issue there myself with the fans not coming on. I would swap out the maf first to determine if that is bad or not.

some red smoked LED tails would really set your car off.
 
Maybe ill get adventurous tonight and take all the stuff off.

And my goal is to have led tails by fall. I was leaning towards the red, but smoked might look better. Idk! I hate making decisions without seeing them on the car. So much money to spend.
 


^^ get dark red led tails. if still no like, tint them. water, sandpaper, vht and clearcoat go a loooong way.
 
Looks great D, really nice idea for a backdrop. Several I could see being up in the runnings for the calendar this year. ;)
