Burgundy Bullet - Retrofit Pics and the End of the Bullet

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors

Hey my mirrors, was wondering what you were going to do with those :th_laugh-lol2: did the passenger one get damaged during shipping? Can't remember if it was like that when I sent it.

I should have done this lol.

The passenger one was already broke and I knew that when I bought it from you. Its no biggy. I needed an extra one to practice on first anyway so its all good.

How much has been done to the driver side one, that you've had for a week now?

Well nothing as of yet. I was waiting for the passenger side one so I could see if they were the same for every piece. I dont think it was an actual stock mirror so it looks like it wont come apart as easy. Im just going to throw the new mirrors on the car and take mine off and use them instead I think. That way they both are the same. It will be way easier for me that way.

Basically Ive been pretty busy but I am going to tint the front facing signals in a couple days most likely while I do homework.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors

And you guys might want to stop holding your breath again. My buddy cant find his dremel so Im just going to buy one because I cant wait. lol. I will do a little searching so it might be a couple days yet.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

I think once you're done with it, tint the strip so it's hard to see. I think that would make it look better. I'm angry now, I should have done this! LOL good job so far.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

I will tint for sure. Got a can all ready to go. Just want everything to fit before I tint otherwise itll get all scratched and stuff.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

Needs moar tint and moar low in front.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

I agree with the lower front for sure. No sure no the tint as I will probably only do a 35% to stay relatively legal. I must be getting old. Tint looks good but I dont want trouble. lol

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

Cops wont pull you over strictly for tint, typically.

You have to be doing something else, like speeding, then they will nail you for both.

Drive safe and smart and you'll be fine.

This car will look tits with tint.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

The other problem is finding a tint shop that would do it for relativly cheap with a warranty. I wonder if I maybe took out the rear deck and took off all the door panels (assuming they te the window fully out of the door to tint it) if they would give me some sort of discount for them not having to do it? I mean I am saving them time so they can get me in andout quicker. Plus I don't trust anyone taking the panels off except me.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

Is that turn strip just stuck on or imbedded a little?

Re: Burgundy Bullet - PROJECT: Turn Signal Mirrors (Update with Pics)

they dont take out any panels afaik, no need (unless you really want that 3rd brake covered).

It would have been wayyyyy easier just to stick it on and call it a day. lol. I cut out the hole with the dremel and stuck it through the backside so it looks better than just sticking it on the outside. At least thats what I think.
