I don't think that they would pull me over because I see lots of Grand Prixs around here without DRLs anyway. Sooooo I guess I should probably turn them off anyway because they do look purply and you can get pulled over if you have any other colors but white and amber visible from the front of the car as I found out the hard way. lol


As for tint Im tossing around the idea. Not sure what exactly to get. I feel like 35% is going to be too light but Im afraid 20% will be too dark. I dont need the hassle of being pulled over by city cops anymore. I try to keep it legal as best I can. For now I will not do it unless randomly out of the blue I can get a really good deal or something.

I seriously doubt you'll get pulled over for not having drl on. That would probably be the last thing a cop will bother you for...majority of them don't notice. Now of course if its rain or bad weather flick your lights on.

What's the legal limit? 35% is just to light to be tint but I do understand that your wanting to try to stay legal.

Cant have anything less than 50% on the frontdoor windows and less than 35% on the rear doors and back window. I asked the cop at the police station about it too and he also said the same thing.

Maybe one of these days I will get ballsy and go for it. lol. It will be a random spur of the moment thing because thats how I do things.

Me too..I had mine done in 5% the day after a sexual encounter with one of my lady friends and got pulled over soon after that. That was enough for me to say F it and drop the car the next day off at the tint shop. 3 years later I haven't been bothered for it although I've been pulled over for other crap

And everybody stay tuned for when I put in the new mirrors that Im putting together (but dont hold your breath I have to get a dremel tool first and that wont be for like 3 months). I will be putting LED puddle lights in the mirror on a relay along with the door projectors so when I open the door the LED facing the ground turns off and the projector turns on. Thanks to BillBoost for that idea!

The puddle lights look sweet. I may have to get some as well.

Also I can not wait to see what you do with the mirrors. Sounds like a cool idea.

Thanks! I love how it looks now. Anytime I feel sad I just look at the car and smile. lol. Yea it could really use some more work but for right now its good.
