This is pretty much what you will need for a cam install.
Springs
Retainers
Valve seals
Rocker bolts
Get the gaskets in this kit that you need plus the timing chain and dampener. http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2...roduct_Code=CIK-L67_32&Category_Code=3800_HCV
can you recommend a good cam install writeup if there is one?Just get the stuff that you haven't already replaced then. Like I don't think you will need new lim gaskets again. But you will need a new supercharger gasket.

This write-up would be better, if they had some pics.... I been thinking about dropping a cam in my ride, but I haven't decided what I want to do yet.i found this one on 3800pro... looks pretty good

Dan Smuts did most of my swap, as it was more of a learning experience for me, so I just helped where I could. We went through the wheel well. It was not too bad. This write-up would be better, if they had some pics.... I been thinking about dropping a cam in my ride, but I haven't decided what I want to do yet.

From what I have researched on this, it is said that anyone doing this needs to be very careful taking out/putting in the cam because inside the engine block where the cam goes is very fragile.
That is what I'm nervous about. Also, more money for parts.
