2000 Turbo Regal

at 17 is dont see more than 540 but tq probably real close to it. ill admit to just skimming thread for the details

planning on turning it up some or just feeling it out at a cheap dyno day dealio? 23psi at what pct?

yeah i wanted to do the 144 upgrade to the heap but i decided to shift the alt bracket by machining the 3 bolt to slots... and at that point why not put a 3L plenum on it with the TB setup made much more compact and allow us almost 1.5 feet of straight pipe before the maf.
im sorta figuring its the only way to fix the damn intake distribution issue

btw watch your cyl 5/6 primary temps. they are running lean. we averaged nearly 150-180* hotter than the middle. the way the 1&2 inlets are at the tb neck id almost figure they'd be cooler than 3/4 but they were close enough as youll get with an IR gun.

sometimes i just wanna go with the new megasquirt and quit dealing with not telling the pcm even half what we are really pumping.

Just feeling it out on 17psi.
Even at medium boost it should put down healthy numbers.

According to the compressor charts at 23psi on my setup I'll be just off the right side of the middle island around 75%.

With the 5/6 cylinders leaning out.. that's due to them getting better airflow?
Couldn't just skew the injectors a little to bandaid the issue without going all evil genius on the manifold? Lol

Well stock gtp maybe not much different but on a turbo setup making some good hp i could see it making quite a difference, thats why i mentioned likely isnt even worth it on a sc setup. Considering the temp differences between cylinders i think some gain/correction could be made.

Megasquirt a stock gtp whats the point? No fuel change to e85 or cam or pullied or anything? Sure missing alot of info. If in deed it was stock with just different maf setup i dont see much point.

Maybe ya'll could gather a little bit of info from this picture.

Since this picture I've added 2* timing and leaned out to 11.4-11.5 AFR.
Running 95lb injectors at a base pressure of 50.

Went from 408 to 527 right? Thats pretty dam good I think! Think you could break 600 with 20psi? All in all not shabby for 3800 v6

not bad, my guess was only 12hp off, ive seen a few 67mm 3800's dyno at 17psi and they were all within about 15hp unlocked, two of them had the st5 cam and you landed right in the middle of them

call us when you get to 700 :th_laugh-pointup:

23psi a locked converter and the same Dyno you ran on might get me close.

I dont remember but is this still on stock heads?

Stock heads yea.

for barometer on how the Dyno reads,
4 intake/exhaust manual trans ZL1s all made right around 470whp
orange turbo TA who made 567 on another Dyno on 11psi turned the boost up to 15 added timing and meth and leaned it out and made 560whp on this Dyno.
