who tuned the car? Did he run with a scan gauge to look for kr? I've heard its pretty hard to get kr running e85 tuned right. Maybe his pistons were on the way out from his problems earlier this spring?
 
Man, that sucks! Idk why all this bad ish has to happen to him. I guess thats what happens when you mod though, but id be pissed as hell too..part of the reason I dont wanna do anymore engine mods to my car is because I dont wanna mess stuff up. Very unfortunate n I hope he gets it situated if he doesnt sell it.

Ryan Carter.

Scanning for KR using HPTuners and DHP. He uses both.

Mainly HPTuners though.
 


Did Anmar scan while driving his car? Im just curious if he had an aeroforce set up to warn him of kr? I feel bad for him.... Hopefully he will find another short block or rebuild.
 
Losing a motor sucks, but going in deep right away was the problem.

Just because it can be done, doesnt mean that you need to follow in other people foot steps.

The car can be just as fast with a bigger pully if the tune is done right.
 
I spent a good portion of my winter rebuilding our L67 and I'd be sick if it blew up... Having said that im on the way to dyno tune motor sports tomorrow to have have my motor tuned by Brian Turner. I just installed 60# injectors, Walbro fuel pump and a ball park intense e85 tune. Intense seems to think I can pulley down to a 2.9 or 2.8. I've been running the past few days on e85 and a 3.2 but waiting until the Dyno tune before WOT pulls.

Anmar has so much into this car I hope he takes a step back and decides to fix the motor. Live and learn right?

You cant use your Aeroforce while connected to HPTuners or DHP because those use the OBDII port, such as the Aeroforce.

Right. I just assumed that the pistons chipped after the tune driving on the road. Im just curious if he runs with a kr alert?
