just lock vise grips on the line nut, and use a large wrench on the filter, turn the filter, not the line nut.

Can the rubber fuel line on the back side twist with the filter without breaking?

the filter should spin in the plastic tube. it un clips off the filter.
you can always take that side off first, gas will be pouring out when you take either side off, it should stop tho, have a bucket to catch it.
and as always it runs down your hand to your arms and then to your arm pits lol

I sure did. Go back a few pages. I said Michigan winters suck, you might want to get a fuel filter line kit, you're probably going to have to cut it off.

I PB blasted the Sh*t out of the fuel line bolt. Didnt budge. i tried turning the filter itself, yeah that didnt work either. That filter is stuck on there.
Car is still saying i have a bad o2 sensor and cylinder 6 misfire after i replace the o2 sensor and new plugs and wires.
I just dont get it. Gas mileage is crap once again, im averaging 14mpg according to my DIC with about 85% highway driving. WTF
Car is going in the shop, im sick of this damn sh*t, i hate this car..

You don't hate the car, the car is just a bastard from hell at the time. And what's this nonsense with catching the gasoline and such? Let it drip! LOL A little gas aint gonna hurt nothin.

Its not that gasoline is leaking/dripping everywhere. Its just getting god awful MPG's once again. I didnt get the fuel filter off.
The car is really going into the shop. I dont know what to do next. I just want it back and running correctly.

doubtful a shop will be able to figure it out, and by the time they do, watch out for the bill

But yeah man, honestly let Josh Jordon and very unlikely me look at the car this weekend. That fuel filter will come off it's not the end of the world. And we can figure out the misfire and mpgs. You haven't considered other ignition components other than plugs and wires.
Oh I was referring to scotty talkin about catchin the gas that spews out in a can or something. Psh! Who cares. :th_nanana:
