double check your egr delete, you already did injector o-rings yes?

trace your vac line for your ac controls all the way to the vac ball on the driver side behind the bumper in the fenderwell.

i use rtv at all my vac connections with high temp silicon line to be certain no leaks.


i hope my lim is not the cause of the vac leak.

i will be replacing injector o-rings when i install bigger injectors, and replacing my ac vac line with silicon hose, and getting rid of the plastic line.



PS double check the tightness of your LIM bolts

New injector o-rings are on.

Not sure what the hell is causing the misfire or vac leak.

The vac leak is loud, and can easily be heard but a sprayed carb cleaner everywhere and found nothing. LTFTs just chill at 16.4

The misfire on cylinder 6 is real bad too. Not sure whats wrong there easy. The only good part about the misfire, is that its missing like every stroke so my car sounds like it has a small cam at idle. Rofl.

Swap #6 coil. I had that happen once after washing the engine bay. Swapped the coil misfire moved and so i put a new used coil on and all was well

I'll try that.

Ill also check all injector clips and swap an injector.

When working on the LIM we didnt touch anything spark related, just fuel related. Plus it was fine after the LIM install was done.

The misfire came today, the day after.

you think the vac leak could be after brandon took it back off to put the rtv on top?

No LTFTs were just fine after LIM install. I watched them after each oil change plus when we drive to caledonia and back. Everything was running like a charm.

On the way home is when the LTFT went to 16.4. Some where on the highway, something went wrong to cause the vac leak. The misfire is still weird to me.

way to doubt me there, guy. vac leak is probably something simple. they were not pegged at 16.4 when we left or during the drive, so i highly doubt it's lim related. the misfire is either fuel or spark and he's tried plug so next is wire or injector as good start there. sure it's no big deal

egr block off plate? or what about that extra gasket that came with the plenum kit you bought at autozone. also brandon you did good work which is why i wanna work something out so i can have you do my lims lol

like i said double check LIM bolts, happening day after sounds like some bolts backed out some. check charger bolts too.

oh and check your evap vac line to TB, that will eff up your idle real bad. i learned the hard way, then i deleted my evap lol...

He must have already learned that cause he has no EVAP either.. Ask me how I know...

EVAP and EGR are gone.

Ill check some bolts tomorrow and see whats up.

If nothing, i'll just let Brandon fix it Friday or Saturday.

My needle gets stuck around 45-50ish mph then shoots up to 70. Lol. Who cares though right? HUD Ftw.


Or maybe my acceleration is just that fast. 50-70 in .4 seconds. Hmmm.

Not too shabby. Was this with the cyl #6 missing or did you get the fixed too?

i have a cylinder 7 misfire come up out of the blue. i has one the interstate driving home and once i got into town it started acting up.. but a reader on it and just deleted the code.. haven't had a problem since then with it.
