I think if the fp is bleeding pressure off the pcm is trying to add fuel but can't. Make sense? It kinda does in my head lol

that would make sense to me at wot or even maybe part throttle but then why would the LTFTs go down once he is in the gas. In that theory the FP is basically maxxed out at idle...

It such a relief to hear that nothing is wrong and the car runs great, especially for being a '97.

With the next race with josh, it will be close. That's forsure.

Well last night, I was driving to my friends house. Going down the street, I saw a sheriff to the left to me, thats pulling onto the main street I'm on from a side street. Check my speed I'm going 2 under the speed limit, so I'm good and carry on. He finally pulls out on the main road, about 1000ish feet behind another car that was behind me. Pretty far back so I thought I was in the clear. I few minutes later, I see his lights go, he swerves over the median to pass a person and comes after me. So I floor it... NOT! I just quickly pulled over for the guy, and he pulled me over for my tint. WHAT THE FVCK. He took so long before he finally turned his lights on and pulled me over. Thats the third time, i've been pulled over for this sh1t.

Oh the conscequences of a good looking car. I love it.

On a good note though, headed to work this morning. I did a quick pull from 40-110. Car so little blips of KR, .2, .5, .3 so nothing major. Thats much better than 4-5* that was seeing previously.

Cool story, I'm already aware.

Did he ticket you or give you a warning?

Sucks that he would go through all that effort just for your tint.


Should of let him hear the whine of the all mighty 3.5 and outran him

I got warning. Thank the lord.

Last 5 times I've been pulled over all have been warnings.

3.5 setup vs. 4.6 v8 Crown Vic. Hmmmm.

busting someone for tint at night is gay upon gay. if its daytime and its pitch black in the car.. then got for it.
at night any tint makes dark car

Yeah pulling me over at night. I was dumb founded. But I still got away with it, so all is good.

You will likely get alot of warnings for tint.

I couldn't count the times I've been pulled over for it, never ticketed. A couple officers I know personally said 9/10 times they pull people over for it as a reason, but observe for other things. Could just be the local cops and their need to check everyone for drugs, very common in this area.

BTW - Glad to see the car running right, about time :th_thumbsup-wink:

So. As alot of you know, I ended up tinting a pair of tail lights for some random guy.

Well I made this mistake doing it in the cold and they came out like sh1t. So I had to give him mine... It broke my heart.

Walking out of class today, I saw the car with my old tail lights. I shed a tear after seeing them... :(
