Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

DNA springs... yep i said it

I have a 2001 GP. No change to bump stops, use stock or stock replacement struts, then put on the DNA springs. Nothing fancy. I did it all myself...put on new struts, new strut mounts, and changed the springs to DNA lowering springs....having never done it before. Just need the tools. I have an electric impact wrench from Harbor Freight and got the spring compressors from Advance Auto (put a charge on my credit card but got it fully credited back when I returned the compressors).

When I went to put on my DNA springs, I didn't realize that ALL of my struts were shot! I went ahead and got new struts. There was no bouncing when I drove or anything that gave me an indication that my struts were bad. I found that surprising.

thats at the end of october, months after i put them on

youre gonna get some good life out of the struts considering those springs dont drop the car nearly at all and dont have high spring rates. they are vogtland knockoffs, which arent even worth putting on a car in my opinion.

once you go low you never go back.

Thanks Red and others for providing sights on the springs sitting in your ride! They look pretty good and for the investment might be worth the $80 some odd bucks!

:)

I just got my set of DNA springs from UPS. Waiting for either a warm day or a day my buddy's shop is available for me to do it there. If anyone else has installed these please post some pictures. Want to see other cars with different tire configurations with these bad boys on. Also saw on the DNA motoring website that they have their own knock off version of SLP headers for our cars.

prices for theses springs are more expensive on dnas website so purchase from amazon hopefully purchasing a set of these for my 04 next week and it will add a nice look to my 19's. will everything be okay if my tires are 235's the profile is only 35 also
