Getting knocked off my motorcycle

some stupid bltch knocked me off my gsxr 600 today while i was waiting for a gas pump. she decided that she didnt want to wait anymore so she went to back up her big GMC yukon XL.... started getting close to me so i beeped... kept going so i revd the **** out of the bike to 16,500 rpm... NOPE still kept going hit me off the bike and pins my leg under the hot exhaust and what does she do... keeps going backwards. im now about 6 inches to a foot away from just being completely run over before people ran to her window and told her what she just did.

little road rash from being pushed on the pavement, my ankle is sprained, right hip has a bruise the size of a basketball and my neck is stiff... could have been worse. thank god people ran to her otherwise i think she would have just run me over

I didn't go after the drunk girl that hit me on my bike because I was advised that I would never see a dime, and insurance would cover the bike. I spent half a year in physical therepy, and 11 YEARS later I still have complications in my neck and back.

She could have KILLED you. Ruin her life.
 
While your lucky to be alive and without serious injur...you had time to hit the horn and rev why didn't u just bail off the bike?

Sometimes you assume a certain outcome from your actions. It's reasonable to think that if someone is backing toward you, if you start honking they'll hear you and stop. I doubt this was a drawn out 10 second ordeal, just a split second reaction.
 
i didnt get off the bike because i didnt actually think shed keep going... this all happen within about 2 to 5 seconds at mooost.. it was just a instinct to just redline the bike and hope she stops.. and at 16,500 rpm with a full exhaust theres no reason in hell she didnt hear me.

Oh i confronted here... ive never sworn and yelled so much at a woman before in my life. the cops showed up pretty much instantly.
 


She probably just threw it in reverse and didn't bother lookin. Was it a younger girl? Keep us updated on the outcome, I can't stand people who drive like idiots. Especially around bikes, I always give them way more room than they need.

get tons of pics of your leg and damage to your bike and keep all hospital bills as well and make sure you get tons of treatments and claim as mush as you can. Like you cant work because of nightmares and trauma.

I cant be near any yukons or suburbans or tahoes anymore without have horrible traumatic flashbacks.

Eric makes a good point tho depending how far you wanna go with it.

On the other hand sure not one bit of fault on your part. This should be a stack the deck and a slam dunk case for any good lawyer. I sure hope you sue the hell out of her!

1) sorry this happened to you and that you got hurt. No one deserves it.
2) do not get greedy with the lawsuit bull crap. Get what you need and keep it simple. She probably isn't worth chasing heavily.
 
Get a little bit out of it teach that B some awareness of her surrounds.. Not saying try to become a millionaire out of it.
