• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Good article. In you live in negative 20 or 30's definitely want to use synthetic 0w-30

Don't use Castrol Synetec 0W30 (German Castrol or GC) if you're looking for a thinner winter oil.

It's actually about halfway between a 30 and a 40 weight.

Consider it a 0W35.

In otherwords, you're better off with a 5W30 or 10W30 than German Castrol, even from Castrol.

Summary: Oil grades mean nothing. Check the actual viscosity on the product data sheet.

T-boned a Chrysler 200 this morning on my way to work. Cops said I was not at fault and I wasn't charged.

I'm just guessing but the guy blew a stop light because he thought it was late/early enough that no one would be out. Also i'm glad that you are safe

Jump started my van and went to hit the wipers to get the remainder of the snow off the windshield and both wipers snapped off. Awesome

Braved the cold and decided to finally find that exhaust leak and vacuum leak.

I was happily surprised to find the intake leak is where the EGR seals to the LIM, and the exhaust leak is where the EGR seals to the header.
Good thing it's getting deleted.
