What did you do to your Car today?

This is true.

This is also true. What you don't seem to understand is that the term "viscosity" is not the same as the term "flow rate". Synthetic oils have a better flow rate at lower temperatures than conventional oils. (while still being the same viscosity) Viscosity does affect flow rate(which is why you suggest running a thinner oil), but flow rate doesn't affect viscosity(which is where you're confused). Hope that clears that up for you.

Definitely not clear

Synthetic oils have a thinner viscosity at extremely low temperature such as -60

Same grade Conventional oil is solid at -60

you got a block heater? if not get one. your oil must be like glue at first start lol

I most definitely do have one. They're a necessity up here. Even with synthetic, it would be cruel to start it without plugging it in. It's mostly the accessories doing the complaining hahaha

A cool feature that my command start has is the option to start the car automatically every 2 hrs if I'm somewhere I can't plug in and run it for a few minutes just to stop the oil from making it to the glue stage. It's proven useful more than once, especially on those -35 February nights hahaha

Started just fine for me this morning, whoooo! Busted some drifts on the way to work too. Then slid around the work parking lot when I pulled in, that was fun.

Got the cheapo car wash at a gas station and am seriously impressed at how brilliantly the GXP shines now. Now if it could stay clean for any length of time this winter I'll be flabbergasted.

dug it out of its spot. moved a few ice bergs from the plow curl in front and plowed right through what was left, about a foot of snow easy. snow tires rule.

12 deg's here too. first turn of the key it kicked and stalled, 2 nd try took only a tap of the key to start.

I cut the clear plastic covers off the rear tail lights...IF u do it ,be very careful,it cuts flesh like a razor..after cutting the black strips off,i ground down the sharp edges with a hand grinder..result, clear non water logged very good loking tail lights on my 1999 GP...wear gloves...

Took it out to walmart but did a few blasts in this nice cool 50° weather. Also tested out the torque app some more putting out a solid 10.4lbs of boost,16° of wot timing,0 kr up to 95mph, and intake temps staying around a healthy 75°.
