• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Wrecked car + Dyno for good times...page 50? Eh.

Re: Still Dumped...Now Getting Boost.

...this build is getting cheaper and cheaper...he's apparently doing a turbo build on his LSJ car (factory blower car)...looks like I'll be getting it running sooner than I thought, it just won't have the injectors, larger fmhe, bypass end plate, smaller pulley. Should still do a solid 225~ though thanks to the larger displacement and higher compression.

I'll be dynoing before and after to just to see gains.

reading that makes me happy

Re: Still Dumped...Now Getting Boost.

So my day yesterday was fun.

Best out of three pulls netted 138.9WHP/157.9 WTQ...pull was done in third gear with ABS/TCS fuse pulled. Third run was best. Made 137 the first pull, 135 the second...TQ was about the same each time save for 1-2 TQ's.

Mods are ZZP Intake Tube, Universal MAF housing/Open Cone filter, polished TB, '05 downpipe with only one cat (My factory '10 one has two for emissions bidnez), Option Racing 2.5" mandrel bent catback + Borla Muffler. So, basically stock.

Race graph:

And...how my day ended up AFTER the dyno on the way home.

****ing Kansas drivers.

ALL OF YOU DIE.

Siding truck decided to have a ratchet strap break at 70~ mph. I was a few cars behind...wasn't about to drive over all the siding that flew off the truck ALONG with a ladder...couldn't go right because of traffic...so, took to the median.

Tie rods: Fubard.
Passenger Axle: Fubard.
Front Bumper: Tweaked to Fubar.
Passenger Side skirt: Warped to Fubarville.
Exhaust: All Bent to sh1t with extra fubar on the tip that's bent in half.
Both front wheels are scratched to ever living sh1t and my passenger tire was le flat.

Offroading tire tucking cars: Not cool.

Guy did stop, car will be fixed by insurance.

DAMN IT!! At least winters coming nick hope the car gets turned around fast by a good shop, sounds like the suspension took an ass kicking.

Edit: Umm apparently ditches love lowbalts now..............

I'm just glad it rained.

The mud really saved me.

If it would have been bone dry out I'm sure I would have met that cable railing. I still have no idea how I missed it, considering I was taking to the median still going around 40~mph.

Glad your ok and didn't take any of that siding or ladder through the windshield. That's some scary sheet...

^ I believe he already bought another one...

Good job Blue, like all good ralley racers, you found the ditch. Better luck next time.
