the grand prix is a 115mm bolt pattern and the G6 has 110mm bolt pattern will they fit? if not can i get the hole in the G6 wheel machined to fit my car? i dont want adapters those arent safe

well since G6s are 110 short answer no they wont work,

if your dead set you could have the holes reemed out but since you think adaptors arent safe, that route is even worse

damn it! those 17'' five spoke g6 rims look so sick i want that look, the grand prix GXP rims cost an arm and a leg. i need 17'' rims

Hey dude not trying to be that guy but have you tried using the search thing on the top or google? A lot of your questions have been answered and discussed about a million times already.

and moved.

and to add on, adapters would be worlds safer than redrilling a set of wheels for the proper bolt pattern.

yeah i dont really like either option lol but thnks for the advice if it hasnt been done here it cant easily be done

You dont even want those rims anyways. There not real chrome.

There a steel rims with a plastic chrome hub cap. My brother had those on his G6.. gaaaay

Yes, I know which ones you are talking about. My brother has a GT,.
They are not real chrome. They are steel rims with a plastic chrome cover

There are other 17s and a similar 18s option that are NOT steel with the covers.... but regardless they can't be customized to work either.

If you REALLY have to get cheap wheels that work and want 17s look into the bullits from mustangs, they are cheap and work well. Played out, but very functional. Just sayin

sorry to threadjack but what adapters would I need to run the 4 G6 wheels above cuz I was dumb and bought them a while back not knowing they didn't fit but I like the look of em obviously that's why I bought them

you need adapters to change the bolt pattern.

most likely it will end up being like a 25mm spacer with bolt holes, nuts, and new studs on it with the correct bolt pattern. they'd essentially make your offset way too low.

i was just saying they can be used, but i wouldnt recommend it truly.

5x110mm to 5x115 (or 5x114.3 for mustang closeness). Not sure what thickness you would want but most likely as thin as possible so they don't stick out too much. This is where offset and backspacing measurements would come in handy *wink wink*

you'd also most likely have to shave down your stock studs because they'll poke through too far.

overall it's not worth the hassle.
