Why did you have to be right tho. A simple "w/e" and leave it be would have sufficed. The OP didn't like you after the page 2 bashing on your part, and was ready to leave because your being an insensitive dick. You could have left it alone but you chose to continue to berate him. I hope for his sake he doesn't come back, you apparently like to target people and won't honor their wishes. He said multiple times, I don't want to go turbo, but you cramed it down his throat. You are wrong for that alone. If I was a mod I would give you an infraction and close the thread, but I'm glad I have no power over that. You think you're right on everything and half the time you are not, and when you are right, you give the person the 5th degree instead of teaching them how they are wrong and what is right. Belittling someone is not effective. As a long standing member some lessons in manners would suit you well.

People come here to learn, if you are going to teach them that way, we need to warn everyone that starts a new thread.

duration is kinda meaningless too.

Ramp rate and valve event timing are the key specs.

event timing = LSA? or am i confusing the two?

In a sense yeahhhh.. Valve event timing is each degree atdc where the valves open and close.

Just to add some perspective. What the OP was saying about turbos was wrong and he was being corrected.

(He was kind of interested at one point)

I think that generalizations should not be argued.

Think about different size turbos. Saying that there is definitely lag or not lag with a turbo is a poorly executed statement. Hence the argument.
I would have liked a civilized discussion on the different types of turbos.

I hope OP comes back and Dark finds it in his heart to interact in a more civilized manner. ???

I have dealt with the whipple fanboys before.. and personally setup a whipple.. I just want people to understand the cost and effort is NOT worth anything more than being able to say "i have a whipple".

Its the same thing as people spending 23gs on an LS9 to swap into a car when you can build an LS3 to more power for half that..people want what they want and someon always has a problem with that. now this interesting thread is probly dead...sweet
