really? honestly, i prefer fox bodies over any other model. and for the other dude, it's camaro, not camero. that bugs the sh!t outta me.

His parents should have bought him an Acura 1.7 EL. Its light, FWD, and has peak horsepower rating of 127 HP at 6300 RPM and peak torque is 114 ft·lbf at 4800 RPM and is around 10 grand for a newish one in good shape.
 


I hate going to school in the morning when its raining...first off its dark, and the output on my light is soooo horrible that im blinded by any car coming towards me. Plus if its raining it illuminates the rain of my windshield FURTHER hampering my vision. I have to come to an almost complete stop on back roads to make sure i dont go off the edge. WTF gm? why do your headlights suckkk so much??
ps the cupholders suck ass too. i use them for my phone cause thats all that fits lol

dude i couldnt have said it any better. LIGHTS SUCK ASS!! i have to upgrade to hids just to see at night.

i dont really want projectors, ive heard to much bad things about aiming, not fitting, leaking, crappy wiring. plus im not so sure i like the look. it just doesnt look right. they need a new design or somethin
 
yea i ordered a set of hids...they looked the nicest...and seemed like id b better off at nite with them...ive had projectors before and while i liked how i could run four lights on each side simetaneously they arent as bight as i anticipated and hoped for..:th_lightbulb:
 
can i tell you when i get them next week? lol..honestly i really didnt pay attention to what was ordered... i had the parts guy at my shop find me the best ones he said he could and order them...i was busy painting and just told him to do it..but as soon as they come ill post before and after pix and all the specs for them?

projectors don't give you more light, they direct more of it in the direction that is useful for a car.

The end all would be projectors and HID's really. Get a stupid amount of light and put it where you need it most. :th_thumb-up:
 


but i will say that they better be pretty dam good cause i paid a pretty penny for them..i just txt him to see if he could tell me what brand at least..

so one could say it looks like it gives you more light?
 
i have never had hids only projectors...i have seen them on cars and liked the bright light...i had an 02 lexus rx300 that had them and i vowed if i ever found another car i was gona keep i wanted them for it.

Yup.

I've never had projectors either. Have been down the HID road though. (non projector style) they do put more light on the road and let you see more when say turn onto a dark street.
