• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I don't know how much longer the body will hold together but I'll drive it until it falls in half. I changed the oil in it and the wifes car today

Ok made the hole for the stop pin for the fuel gauge

Just finished seafoaming and I got a p 0300. Random/multiple misfire. But she runs good from wat I could tell. should I be worried ?

I've heard from seafoaming you can clog things up when the carbon buildup breaks loose. My guess is that a plug has been fouled up. Probably just do new plugs and wires if you've never done that before.

Danielle, I have a big open junkyard I'm pretty sure I can find you a maf for the low low price of shipping ;)

Thank you for the offer Brandon. I've been wanting to go to ours for awhile now and see what goodies I can find, so let me see what I can find there. If I can't find one, I will let you know.
Their website says 24.99 + 4.00 core (because I would probably want to keep my old one in the event something happened)

Well I pay $2 and it walks out in my pockets. As many times as I've paid $2 to go in that junkyard, and paid for parts that were broken (seldom, but does happen), I just call it evening the score ;)

Hell, it often helps knowing the yard guy. I've paid my $1 to get in, walked out with a few small items, put them on the counter, and he tells me I am good to go.

I haven't been to a junkyard for my own car in forever. No one ever has a Stealth.

Realized today how easy the starter is to replace on these ls4's. A buddy with a Impala wouldn't start and turned out it was a bad starter

GXP got its first DTC. P0121, bad TPS. taking it to the dealership now. They can deal with it.

Depending on which is having issues you'll either need to replace the
Gas Pedal Assembly (includes the position sensor) - 25830024 - Retail -$100.11
Throttle Body Assembly (actuator sometimes malfunctions) - 12631016 - Retail -$308.36

I would lean more towards the pedal having a problem and needs a new sensor but the only way to get a new sensor is with a new pedal. These new Drive-by-wire setups really made it interesting on Parts.

Yeah, I dislike like drive by wire myself. It's slow. And apparently more costly to repair than cable throttle bodies.
