• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Started patching the new fender.... welder didn't wanna work right so they're ****ty welds but they're holding it together so not complaining.... oh yea! So i'm chillin next to the car welding, right? Well I just had the scariest moment in my life.... i'm welding away and next thing I know my nuts start burning.... i'm like "****! No, no, no, no!" Put it out before any damage was done but scared the living **** outta me... all I know is it gave a whole new meaning to fire-crotch...

I rotated the tires. While rotating I removed the 4 caliper bracket bolts for the front calipers and added lock-tite to the two top ones and replaced the bottom ones with a new bolt, putting lock-tite on those too. I would have replaced all 4, but the washer part of the new bolts was too large and hit the steering knuckle where it starts going up to mount the strut.

After that I reset the TPMS and then I changed the oil. I also attempted a sea foam treatment but got nothing out the exhaust. Much different than when I did my Stealth which was a ridiculous smoke show.

Ralm, your car looks pretty rust free. Those rocks love to rot out pretty bad right behind the fender. It doesn't matter how that weld looks, no one will ever see it. I would of picked up a fender that needed zero body work. They are a dime for a dozen around here.

got me paranoid now.. I just did my front rotors and pads last weekend, but used never seize on the bracket bolts and then tapped tight with a 3lb mall...think I should probably lock-tite em? maybe back em out a bit and slam some lock-tite in..
