• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

The PC got a workout this weekend, that's for sure.
I just did the G6 back in March, only thing its had is a few washes since then and if its not at work outside, its in the garage. When I washed it saturday, the water just sat there. Didn't run off or bead up or anything. I was disgusted lol.
So hopefully these 3 coats of wax on top of everything else will last a little longer.

I seriously don't know how I waxed before I got the PC. That thing takes all the work out of it, so nice!

Okay, real NOOBIE question. Here it goes....... What is the "PC"? I take it it's not a Personal Computer. Forgive me!

I want one nowwww!!!! All I have is $150 D: I have been saving up, but screw part time jobs

split one with a friend. hell i use my brothers, he just asked me to buy one of his pads, only i use it so it should last quite some time, and i buy my own wax and so on. wax products last a long time. if its just for your car.

see if you have places that sell and buy used tools, pawn shops, ebay, you never know where one may turn up used for a good price.

Also, keep an eye out for sales. and PACKAGE DEALS!
I got mine during the Christmas sale from AutoGeek, got the PC with 6 pads for $180? I think.
They were running a "12 days of Christmas" sale, and I was waiting for it, day 10 came and went and the PC still wasn't the daily special...then finally on day 12, it was! So that's when I got mine. Saved about $40 I believe.

You've got labor day coming up, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are always huge sale times for everyone.
So just wait it out for the best packaged deal.

made it all nice and clean

Watched as whilst going up a hill my RPM gauge decided to quit life and my traction control turned itself off...Coolstorybrool

Thanks. I work in a lumber yard and we have a beautiful PC7428 in the showcase that hasn't sold in two years. I may take it at cost!

that one is just a right angle grinder/what ever. you can put a buffing pad on it, but you can never stop moving it or the paint will burn off.

you want this one. it has a dual action spinning head that wont harm the paint, what ever you do with it.

i did a little bit but only with the speedometer and thats easy because i have the HUD. RPM gauge was fine and so was the temp i didnt have to touch them. my fuel gauge doesnt work so im not sure if you would have to recalibrate that. if so its easy just go fill up your tank and set it on full.

so exactly how does this needle swap work? are there any grooves or can you throw them completely off if you aren't careful?
what's the trick here? in fact, just walk me through it :D
