Resurfaced my trunk light.

Wet sanding will work. My car has been through car washes many times and I have never had a fogging issue. When you can literally feel the scratches on the outside, then wet sanding will fix the issue. I have fixed other headlights before with the wet sand method.

i see the words have issues. i do not see where i said the issue is common. thanks for trying though haha.
and if the odd shapes are sun damage than you are lucky! still don't be surprised if you do have water damage because your headlights are pretty bad. if you do it'll most likely be on the top part of them. i wish ya the best of luck getting that stuff off. if i were you i would just work on getting the ones you bought from another forum member in pristine condition since they already look great. or just save up some money for aftermarket ones. i bought aftermarket ones and I'm very pleased.
