We've owned some real clunkers over the years, cars I probably wouldn't even get into now. While the wife may not clean the car out, she at least knows enough to tell me about noises and lights.
 


i got one engine under my belt due to that line lol she killed a 4.0 jeep Cherokee. she even drove it with a rod knock for 2 weeks, before i heard the car running, and was like wtf is that? she calmly says i don't know, it started last week.
 
I just ordered it one of those fancy AEM filters, since I kinda collapsed the k&n one. Whoops

And I found the Duplicolor Metalcast is at the local Advance Auto, I know what I'll be doing this coming weekend!

she paid for it, she got a jasper rebuild through her job, and had a shop swap it, i was like screw this crap, you killed it! you deal with it lol she had connections, so i didn't feel bad at all.

and it still ran, she drove it to the shop. she would have driven it till a rod dropped out the bottom, or stopped turning. lol
 
my 4.0 jeep had a rod knock. swapped the engine and took apart the heads with the rod knock. turns out one push rod was bent, and the one next to it actually burned a hole through the rocker arm. bought it for 200 bucks and drove it like that for 8 months before i did the engine swap.

i hate anything related to chrysler. idc how long those engines can last. it went through 2 transmissions
 


yeah chrysler sucks, ive hated both of our minivans. and the 94 jeep we had, i loved the 4.0 but it had lifter tick since the day we bought it.. never gave up on us though.
 
Installed an EGR system. Planned on cleaning the throttle body while it was off, but to my surprise, I could eat off my throttle body already.

I should take a picture of her trunk- Her definiton of cleaning it out is moving the 9 pairs of shoes, 11 pairs of jeans and 10,000 coupons to the trunk periodically. :th_shakinghead2:
 


I dont understand how women can let there car get so dirty. There is literally nothing on the floor on my car. The back floor mats still have vacuum lines in them and the front gets vacuumed as needed. My car still looks like it did when I left the dealership, with the exception of some dust in places and what not.
