Installing Speed Daddy headers on my car - was able to uninstall stock today will continue the install tomorrow or friday good thing my wife is out of town and I could use her car :)

Installed the SLP spoiler and cursed at it several times during install.
Then put it back up on ramps to check leaks, pretty sure its the oil pan :(

Going to try tightening the bolts next time it's on ramps and rewash and see if that helps any.
 


swapped my clock spring today, air bag light remains on, but the radio controls now work on the steering wheel. 1/2 a problem solved.
 
note to all of you.

don't use Mobil 1 Performance synthetic. only use just the regular Syn. if you have the choice.

my motors been running a tad hotter ever since i did my oil change 3 weeks ago.

although when i get on it, my motor stays cooler. which makes sense. but not for a daily.

So u think your higher engine temps are a result of ur engine oil...........really?

i basically ripped apart the entire front suspension. dropped the subframe a few inches, put in a new power steering rack, ball joints, tie rod ends, drive shafts, sway bar links, etc etc etc.
 
Pulled the carpet and seats, carpet was steam cleaned, wired for reverse cam, 4ch amp 2 ch amp, 0gauge. But the 97 carpet looks new again.

Sorry, but oil is NOT going to make a car run hotter. Do you happen to think the warmer temps might be why you are running hotter?
