• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

To my car, just drove it a bit and stared at it in the driveway. Since we drove it to indy last night, she's super dirty. Needs a good bath and polish and the wheels need some tlc too.
Then Polished 1 exhaust tip till its reflection was mirrored. Then starter polishing 1 wheel off of the g6.
I have a new found hatred for GM'S stupid "chrome" wheels.

Inlay installed

Walked outside standing in front of it for awhile thinking, "Why do i keep putting more and more money in to this car when theres other things i need to focus on?"

Then said **** it and walked inside and ordered more stuff

Got the Overkill tune installed and oh my %$@$, she goes like vroooommmm
and to think that the S/C engine is even faster....
thats my first reaction after going WOT to a higher speed then I have ever gone before in a automobile
of course I will get used to it and want more but for now thats enough for me thank you

Wel i got my 8k HID's put in, found my fuel leak problem, washed it and lowered the front end a little to level it out till i get my struts, SSC springs and ZZP strut mounts. Didnt get my spoiler painted yet but it should be done in the next few days.

Threw $60 of gas in the car and was then banished from driving the thing anymore. I guess my Camaro that has a loud tapping coming from the engine (my moms boyfriend told her it was an exhaust leak so she thinks its ok to drive) which I am pretty sure is a messed up lifter is a more economical car to drive at this point and time. It used to get like 10 mpg city (completely stock 350) and now since the tapping it is closer to like 3 mpg (I drove it ten miles and it says I used over a quarter of a tank of gas).

Hydraulic lifters will do that sometimes. Put some Seafoam in the oil and drive it around a while then change the oil. Should help break up the sludge build up thats causing the lifters to stick. Might have to do it a time or two to get it cleaned out. I have to assume that the car isnt running correctly as well.
