• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

cleaned up the new console yesterday and installed it today. kinda odd having 2 working cup holders, the new one is from a 2000 it is still crap like the rest but a better design than the 98 cup holder. and a working latch on the arm rest is a treat too.

and im not getting my email from my phone so these are all ive gotten since yesterday. just got pics i mailed to my self from a week ago.

I use the rain-x washer fluid and don't even need to use my wipers.
I use that stuff too, plus have rain-x applied to the glass.
I was just going thru a bad patch of rain and needed to hit them to clear.

I think I know what I did...I was getting gas on my way home and was washing the bugs off the windshield (pointless I know) and I think I hit the arm where the wiper hooks. I flopped it around and pulled on it and it still seemed tight. but apparently it wasn't. I was cruisin and went to hit them once and it started to curl and lift up so I was merging over to stop and fix it and then it went flying...so I made a U-Turn and headed back to the town Marysville and got a new wiper.

My day was pretty eventful.

To the car...I just drove it a bunch and sang to the steering wheel (I'm sure it was glad when I pulled in the driveway at home).
Tomorrow, the G6 is getting a detail and paint restore (hopefully).

All sorts of nasty ickyness under there, wow.

in the interest of safety, in the future please put a scrap piece of wood under your ramps when using them on unpaved ground, the ramps can sink and possibly crush you, its happened to me and others. we really dont want one the few ladys of the site hurt now, do we? nah, i think not.:th_winking:

now i hope you got to de greasing that poor engine and fixing/finding the leaks! lol

I know, I didn't think about putting the plywood the other direction under the ramps until the car was already up there.
I will do that next time.
I set the emergency brake and we put wood behind the back tires.
I wasn't ever totally under the car, and I was able to get out easily if something did start to happen.

I might do it again next weekend only on the top side.
It looks so much better tho.

I loaded up my tools in the gtp and went over to my grandma's to change the tierod end on her intrigue then i changed the oil on mom and dads venture then grandma made me supper. It was delicious :D

If you were over in Geneva, you shoulda ventured over to Ossian and helped with the G6, lol

Changed her oil and gave her a good cleaning inside and out. I was thinking how good she looked until my grandfather pulled up in his new vette. Needless to say she didn't look as good sitting next to over 600 horses.
