• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Considering hitting up the local touchless car wash on the way home after work; poor car is so filthy.
Did it. Felt good. Car thanked me.

Got lucky though; the weather forecast said it was going to be lows of 4* C, but it got to 1* C at my place. Had the lightest form of ice on the door handle, but didn't slow me down.

Picked up the 05 Gp for $2000 for my son for college, engine sounds and runs good but I knew the tranny needed work. Has 179,000 and previous "owners" conveniently had new fluid and supposedly was "serviced" a few months ago but couldn't tell me the shop or show paperwork. They asked for $5000 at first, but beat them down to the $2000. They knew they were caught once I pulled the transmission dipstick and smelled it, told them this tranny is burnt. He then asks what would I take it for.

It's at a buddy's shop getting the work done. His boss took it for test drive and laughed. "This car has no balls, what you pay for? 2K? Ok good deal...5k no good deal"

turns out getting my tires re balanced made the vibration twice as bad. so i rotated the tires and its smooth as glass now. so back to re balance again, cause i want these new tires up front cause they have more meat then the other set.

firestone claims they could not break my rear tie rod bar free to adjust the toe, so i broke that free today with minimal effort. i tried to just ape on em but the bar was twisting, so i grabbed a wire brush cleaned up the threads, then sprayed some wd-40 on the threads, tapped on both lock nuts with a hammer a few times, and dont ya know they both broke free......guy at fire stone had the torch on them and failed to move em. lazy muther f ers.

Chopped out the resonator on the pass side of the T'bird because it had a hole in it. Still haven't get a new one yet, but first start of 2015.

I drove the GTP up the street since there is no salt to a barn sale and I picked up a welder.

I left it all by its lonesome at work and brought the Silverado home. I changed the oil in the Chevy when I got it home because it was only 1500 miles overdue. LOL

Got to head out at 6am to go to Cambridge, OH and make a few other stops out that way too. Yippee.
