• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

developed a front end clunk. no idea wtf it is yet. i feel it in the floor under my feet when i jump on it from a dead stop. feels like the sub frame maybe.

can bad sub frame mounts make a clunk?

Anyone know what the threads are on the PS rack and pinion for the high pressure line and return line. I know they have an 18mm o ring. Are the 5/8-18 or something else

Lmao, well with the oil on it, it shouldn't rust right? Haha

I might pickup more of those little clips at autozone in case i lose them.

got my new snow tires re balanced to see if they were the cause of my front end vibration, no dice. back to Firestone i guess. they tell me they can break the rear tie rod free, so maybe ill make that f er work then let them redo the alignment.

also looks like i found my clunk. i have a small gap between my sway bar and the bushing, (1/8th inch maybe) when its ice cold out i get the clunk when i take off from a dead stop. once it warms up it stops clunking. end links dont look so good any more either.

Either the gasket leaks and saves the pan, or it doesn't leak and salt takes the pan out. Lol pick one. Our impala chose for the pan to rust out, the gasket still wasn't seeping a single bit.
