• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I'm sure you are smart enough to do this, but you are cleaning the dipstick off first and then sticking it back in and checking the level right?

Gotta ask....you did drain the old oil when you changed it......................right?....... and motor was not running?

How is your car running? any weird noises?

Yeah of course.
Everything is driving good.
Just that light. And some times too much oil or no oil. And I'm not on a hill

Holy ****, my buddy just gave me an Orion 2150SX amp. It might actually be too much power for my W3, lol. 600W RMS at 12v and ~700w RMS at 14.4v with less than 1% THD....and that's 4 ohm. Should I ever feel like getting more I can drop it to 2 Ohms with some cooling mods (and a different sub\Box obviously). This thing is a monster, lol. It's going in this weekend...time to see what this W3 really can do.

You can't check it with the motor running, so when you did it with it off, thats where the real oil level is.

So I guess you are low on oil then.

See it never hurts to ask the obvious..... so make sure motor is shut off for a few minutes to let oil drain back into the pan and then check it. Only put 1/2 a can at a time, and then check it--this is so you don't overfill it. BTW---it's the transmission fluid you check with the car running--follow directions usually written on the dipstick.

Yeah tnx guys.

I guess I'm magically loosing 5 qts in 2 months.
Cause the dipstick was really empty

It's going one of 3 places, out your tailpipe (burning oil), into your rad (leaking head gasket) or onto your garage floor (leaking all your other gaskets ) This is assuming that you put it in the right place to begin with...I've heard stories of people putting oil into rad overflow tanks, into washer fluid tanks and even into gas tanks. I guess if you're not mechanically inclined these could look like viable options. 5 qts is a lot to lose, there should be some signs pointing to where it's going, blue smoke when you start it up and when you floor it or check the bottom of your motor for excessive greasy areas. Make sure your dipstick is pushed all the way down before you check it, sometimes it can sit on top of the tube if it wasn't pushed on right.

I plugged my ABS speed sensors back in...again... lol I think I need a different brand of hub assembly. I just replaced them a month ago and they will unplug themselves like every week. Oh, that and I broke my dipstick. lol the plug that actually goes inside the tube somehow broke off and just slides along the dipstick everytime I check it now. It doesn't change anything as far as I can tell yet, but its annoying.

Rotated my tires, finally flipped my dogbone bushing mounts. I like that the engine doesn't flop around on startup.

Anyone have a recommendation for a catalytic converter heat shield that has lost most of its spot welds? Now is just kind of sits on the cat and rattles, can I have someone just re-weld it to the cat?

Zip ties and welcome to the broken dipstick club. Lmao.

Also thought about buying a gopro but sheeeet them expensive.
Google "mini 0803 camera". I got the one with 16gb of internal memory and the GPS option for $120. I think the lesser models start around $75 or so. They are all 1080P, 30fps.

I haven't uploaded any video yet, but this thing spanks my old 720p camera. Even in the dark the camera can see.

Here she is.....

Hmmm. Well I've heard bad things about them. Guess I'll go with Sears tomorrow and get a 3 year plan
