I'm sure you are smart enough to do this, but you are cleaning the dipstick off first and then sticking it back in and checking the level right?

Gotta ask....you did drain the old oil when you changed it......................right?....... and motor was not running?
How is your car running? any weird noises?
You can't check it with the motor running, so when you did it with it off, thats where the real oil level is.
So I guess you are low on oil then.
See it never hurts to ask the obvious..... so make sure motor is shut off for a few minutes to let oil drain back into the pan and then check it. Only put 1/2 a can at a time, and then check it--this is so you don't overfill it. BTW---it's the transmission fluid you check with the car running--follow directions usually written on the dipstick.
Zip ties and welcome to the broken dipstick club. Lmao.I plugged my ABS speed sensors back in...again... lol I think I need a different brand of hub assembly. I just replaced them a month ago and they will unplug themselves like every week. Oh, that and I broke my dipstick. lol the plug that actually goes inside the tube somehow broke off and just slides along the dipstick everytime I check it now. It doesn't change anything as far as I can tell yet, but its annoying.
Google "mini 0803 camera". I got the one with 16gb of internal memory and the GPS option for $120. I think the lesser models start around $75 or so. They are all 1080P, 30fps.Also thought about buying a gopro but sheeeet them expensive.
Here is one from the other morning; nice and dark...... http://chrisb.users.superford.org/Temp/AMBA1189.MOVIf you upload any footage PM a link or something, quality is really a deciding factor for me.
