Decided to reconsider the color I painted my grilles. I painted the front gloss black, which looks real nice but I'm thinking a metallic grey would be good too. But if I did that I wouldn't be doing the lower grille, since it may not looks good, and it takes more effort to get it off at this point.

Took a test spray with Duplicolor gunmetal metallic, and a darker rustoleum metallic grey. The back piece is black, the others are the greys.

EDIT: Aaaaand after checking the first coat against the car, the gloss black looks to be the best way to go. The others seem to just make them look faded.

Tried again to fix the display in the stereo. One new bulb & resauldered the other 2 with the proper saulder. Even took the bulb 'condoms' off hoping the bulbs would shine a bit brighter. Nothin. Whatever. I'm over it.
 
Was almost killed today.

Stupid ****ing farmers, they have been cutting corn and the roads are coated in mud from fields. Thats no big deal, but they think they are king ****. They keep blowing stop signs on this crossroad, today this big ass tractor was hauling ass up to the stop sign not even slowing down then he saw me and i watched him panic and he probably came halfway into my lane and was still going and i had to swerve around him. Same thing yesterday, i saw a tractor run a car into the oncoming lane because he blew a stop sign without looking. Next time i see this **** happen I'm calling the police because this is just stupid.

Record it and show them. Also post it on youtube so people can see it and complain to the town and then the law enforcement will be forced to crackdown on these inconsiderate assholes
 
I'm thinking of getting one, wouldn't mind one for 100 or less or ideally under 75 that does 1080/720p with decent FPS and does good in low light conditions. I'm not familiar with any of those type of electronics.

Mine fits all categories except for the low light conditions. My first cam was $40 and did better in low light, but it was cheap and had other minor issues.
 


I mean low light conditions isn't a huge concern, i do mostly backroads driving so its not much to capture, but like at night in town with and without street lights how well does yours do. Also if you have any footage recorded with it on YouTube mind sharing a link and maybe a link to the camera?

How much was that cam, it looks pretty good sound is decent too. I assume it plugs into the cig lighter and can hold micro sd cards.

Date stamp at the bottom cam is $40, records well, audio-video gets out of sync and doesnt have a clip lock button.
Date stamp at the top is a $85 cam, works flawless except the colors are a bit weird and the low light conditions aren't easy to see.
GP's don't come with a lighter outlet that comes on and off with the key, I spliced power from an ignition harness wire that is on in run position only.
 


I would probably just tap into the sunroof fuse as that's switched.

Also thought about buying a gopro but sheeeet them expensive.

Thanks! The rear end looks nice too. I plan on painting this car next winter. For next summer I would like to drive it with the original paint.

By the time i get done detailing this car no one would believe me that the paint is original. Lol

when you drive a rig, you dont use the clutch, he was down shifting and missed his window, or went for the wrong gear.

when ever you see a box rental truck on the road, give that asshole all the room in the world, cause he has no clue wtf hes doing driving something that big...i kid you not, thats what it says pretty much in the cdl lic book.

here in NJ you only need to stop one time for a stop sign, even if your 5 th in line, you already stopped. if its clear keep going. (obviously, the road needs to be clear)

i really need one of these cams for when im driving the roll off truck, the amount of times ill get cut off a day is mind blowing.
