• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Well my kids and a migrane got in the way of my finishing last night, but I finished it this morning, and so far so good. I'm 99% sure it's fixed. I blame the PCS solenoid. I'll have more pics and such in my build thread, link in my sig.

gas light came on, treated the whore to 30 bucks worth of 93, and shes almost full. i think it cost 3.70 per gallon. i hate to look to hard these days.

also think i got a bad inner tie rod from the wheel bearing seizing up. its got a click of play now.

Here are a couple threads I've added to discussing the finer points:

and remember, thats full service too. im not allowed to pump my gas here. it was down to 3.55 ish and so then summer time and its creeping up again.

i refuse to look at the price for reg 87 lol its so cheap its like almost free.

Reg is around 3.84 to 3.94

Iv been pricing up tires, god I don't want to pay that bill. Gonna be around the 600 mark that assuming I don't need cam bolts/front struts and springs and my alignment turns out fine, I might just drive the 1 hour for firestone lifetime alignment especially with living on a dirt road it will probably pay off. At least I will have the correct tire size and not the 225/55s.

Are you wanting to instsll it stand alone or inline? If its stand alone I dont see why you couldn't pop out the quick connects on the rad and side the hose over them.

I think I want to do it as a stand alone cooler, from what I've read so far it's my best option to get max cooling .

i vote no. cause it gets cold in PA and the tranny will run to cold, it still needs to reach that 170 mark to run best.

run the cooler in line, at least it will still get the fluid warmed up via the rad trans cooler.

I don't really think that will be much of a problem considering my current temps. I'm reaching almost 230 on an average driving day ... Unless you think it will make that much of a difference ?

id go in line first, see how it does in the hot temps. if it drops to 190 ish your looking good.

you can also mount a small fan on the cooler to aid in the cooling if need be. turn it off in the winter.
