• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Just got off the phone with the Capn. He got the crossover and front manifold off, and then got a call that his uncle was in the hospital. In Virginia. So he threw it all back together and took off. Somewhere along the way he stripped the bolts holding the exhaust manifold to downpipe, he'll have to drill those out the next time he tries to install his headers.

My PC came in today with my pads and everything else. Plan on trying to attack the truck again this weekend to get it looking badassical. Even though the hood is still effed I plan on giving the GP a good buff job too. Maybe I will get the GXP spoiler painted and on there too.

looks like its new radio time soon for me. i checked my XM before and it was on a free trial. so i cranked up the tunes, and with in less then a minute i had smoke pouring out from under the dash, shut the car off. aired it out. it stopped smoking. and it still works.

lets hope its not burnt to the ground in the morning.

Was your stock one in the car?

yup, stock radio, xm is a stand alone. was using the tape deck to the xm unit. haven't used the tape deck in who knows how long. may have been that. it stunk bad but not really like wires. but bad enough to worry some. radio never stopped working either. i shut it off. made sure it stopped smoking, then turn the car on again and nothing came out, but ive yet to crank it again.

its nice to know a double din will fit my dash with very little work. bill says he had to trim the back of the hole the radio sits in like a few mm.

Drove the gp to work and then grabbed the ford. Getting some quality windshield time today visiting one of my Ohio fields.

Filled the ford up....80$. Glad I don't have to pay for that.
