Yea u can read error codes, check real time info on the car and clear the codes. $12 on Amazon for most of them. Only works with android and windows PC. Sorry no apple support that iv seen
 
I havent decided if im.gona get a phine.one or.one.for.my laptop yet but im going to get one.in the next couple days

i have not had much luck using Bluetooth scanners with my laptop. my laptop has Bluetooth plugged in but cant find a program that supports Bluetooth as a scanner input. the programs for computers are also the same for the phone when it comes down to what info it will show you. i use torque pro and if the car knows whats happening so will my phone.

Looks like I am taking it to town. I have an interview tomorrow and I pulled some dress khakis out of the closet and they are discolored where they were hanging on the hanger. Need some dress shoes/boots too.
 


Already back from town. Got some dress boots from Target. Ended up going to WalMart to get dress pants. Target's cheapest dress pants was $23. I got two pair of dress pants (one black, one khaki) for $22 at WalMart. I don't care if they are lower quality. It is not like I wear them every day. Last time I wore dress pants was to a funeral last summer.
 
Replaced the coolant elbow on my mom's 96 regal with a 3.8 NA. Went with the aluminum one's this time. The plastic developed a stress crack. Also replaced the UIM with the dorman version and cleaned the throttle boddy.

Aired up the tires, started it, and took some measurements. Interior disassembly to run more 1/0 and do some deadening coming soon. Car's already dented to hell and ugly as sin... but she'll be loud again by summer.

my fuel pump is on its way today. found out that my old fuel pump somehow builds up pressure slowly. I checked it and it had 30psi in the rail. I will also change the filter.
 


Traded it off for the week for the G6. Lee took my car to get looked at today and schedules don't work to meet to swap back so I get to keep it till Friday. That's ok, I'll gladly drive it and enjoy xm radio for the week. Only if I didn't have to put gas back in it....
 
Have a 2000 SE 3.1. Today I replaced the coils did away with my random misfire code. Bought a 2000 GT 3.8 for parts. The guy kept the super charger sold me the car for $400. I'll take what I need off it and scrap the rest.

Lucky you - I was confronted with the "crank but no start" fuel pump issue in the parking lot of a Kroger's. No warning, and I was getting 45psi at the rail. Had to replace it.

If its a 4 door and you don't want the window controls bezal piece thingy and its black can I buy it?? My sisters car has a broken and missing tab so the thing pops up out of the door panel alot.

mine did the same thing but i was at my house when it happened. funny part was it happened when i was driving. it completely shut off with out warning luckly i was in a parking lot!! it fired right up with out much fuss but my rail says 0 psi. untell saterday night it said 35 psi and it did fire right up for 10 seconds so i know the pump dont work any more lol
