• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Parking your $25,000 Mustytang that close to my $2,500 GP is probably a losing proposition. Just saying.

We were supposed to get hammered with snow and haven't gotten anything yet. I know the storm should have already been here. Guy on another forum is in the Dayton, Ohio area and it hit there last night.

Its still coming down good. They don't seem concerned to be plowing the roads. Its a mess. Not supposed to stop until late tonight or tomorrow I think.

Took the first drive with the michelin defenders. They do just fine in 3.5 inches of unplowed, rarely driven on snow. Hardly any wheel spin on acceleration(slow of course) I took a fast turn in the deep-ish snow and no sliding really. On slush they do okay, a lot better than a many of cars on the road today. I was going to get some food and my mom was in the passenger seat, and just to screw around and there were no cars around, I turned on a main street with normal to slightly heavy acceleration as if it were dry and got quite a bit of wheel spin on the slush and obviously you cant steer when the wheels are slipping. My mom was like WOW these new tires are horrible! lol She thinks the driver has very little to do with how a car handles in the snow - wrong. If you give it 1/4 throttle on slush from a stop and turn, no tire will get traction. They would have got the "okay" rating I gave it before if I would have tried to get traction.
